The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel (website) was pleased to host the inaugural North Country Film Festival, an extraordinary cultural event that debuted September 30 – October 3, 2010.

The result of a creative partnership between The BALSAMS, FLICKERS and the Rhode Island International Film Festival (website) – one of the best festivals in the U.S. and a qualifying event for the Academy Awards – the North Country Film Festival promises to become a highly anticipated annual affair, drawing together celebrities, audiences and independent filmmakers from around the world. This event also established New Hampshire's North Country as a regional center for the arts.
